Safety Leadership (Professional Development Program)
Have you promoted leaders/front-line supervisors from within your company who have responsibility for safety? Do your leaders understand the consequences of allowing unsafe behaviors? Do you have leaders who struggle with managing people? If you answer yes to any of these questions, we are ready to help your leaders overcome many of the barriers to success.

If you are a decision-maker and it is important to you to protect the people who work for your company, this program is a step in the right direction.

Our step-by-step process gives your supervisors all the tools necessary to become a successful leader.

Phase I - OSHA "Site-Specific" Regulatory Training

We conduct a needs assessment of your site-specific environment. Based on our findings, we develop a customized regulatory training program that will inform your leaders of the laws and regulations that apply to your work site and industry. This training gives your leaders the knowledge to identify hazards within their work area and reduce accidents. (The 30-Hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Training Course is suggested for steering teams and front-line leaders).

Phase II - Leadership Training

Upon completion of the regulatory training, participants will attend a Leadership Development Program. The scope of training will be determined based on site-specific challenges and participant interviews prior to the training event. Training topics may include communication, coaching, accountability and leading by example.

Phase III - Root Cause Analysis Training

The third and final phase of development ties everything together, applying what has been learned in phase I and II. Participants will address real, site-specific issues utilizing the tools provided in this 8-hour root cause analysis workshop.

When all is complete, your leaders will have a better understanding of the laws and regulations effecting your industry, know how to effectively communicate, learn how to hold people accountable and learn the true value of leading by example. Participants will also be able to apply what has been learned to address your site-specific safety issues and make recommendations for corrective action. It is simply a win-win.

"After I attended this training, it just made my job easier. I was not comfortable as a supervisor and would avoid potential confrontation when dealing with subordinates and safety issues. This learning experience has changed the way I lead. I actually enjoy my job now".
